Phyllis J. Haddaway
Cambridge, Phyllis Jean Haddaway, formerly of Bozman, died peacefully on November 1, 2012 at Mallard Bay Care Center where she had resided for the past several years. She was 82 years old. Born in Easton on September 10, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Morris Clifton and Violet Steilkie McQuay. Phyllis attended School in St. Michael, and married her high school sweetheart (the late) James Franklin "Crowbill" Haddaway and they made their home in Bozman. Phyllis was always known as a hard worker. In her younger years she worked at the Sewing Factory in St. Michaels and then at Yale Underwear in Easton. Her second home was always at Big Al's Seafood in St. Michaels where she worked for over 20 years until she became ill. Her family always came first and she will be missed by her children,grandchildren, great-grandchildren and extended family and friends. She is survived by her son; Daniel Franklin Haddaway and her daughters; Kimberley Bonner and Brenda Woolman and husband David; grandchildren; Dawn Turner and husband Ryan, Danielle Winston and husband Brett, James M. Bryan III, Michelle Haddaway Fink and husband Bobby, Matthew Bonner and Allison Bonner. In addition she is survived by her 10 great grandchildren. Phyllis will be missed by her longtime roommate at Mallard Bay Care Center, Miss Kitty. In addition to her late husband, she was predeceased by her daughter June Bryan Roshaven and her granddaughter Jennifer Woolman Morrison. Funeral Services will be held at the Hurley and Ostrowski Funeral Home P.A. St. Michaels on Sunday, November 4, 2012 at 2:00pm where friends and family may call one hour prior to the service.
