I lived in Brookmont from 1942 to 1950 and was a classmate of Rogers at Clara Barton Grammer School and Leland Jr High. After moving to the suburbs of Phila. I lost contact with Roger for many years. We caught up again when he moved back to Brookmont and later in Easton, MD . The Harris's were always very hospitable to me.

I lived across the street from Roger and his mother, Alice, for whom he lovingly cared for many decades. He was the "Mayor of Brookmont" who knew everyone and always had a kind word and happy smile. We missed him after he moved to the Eastern Shore. May he Rest In Peace with his dear mother.
I have such fond memories of my Uncle Roger while he was married to my Aunt Sandee. He and his daughter Vicky were fun to be around. Uncle Roger will always be remembered for his kind-heartedness and charming smile. Rest easy, Uncle Roger.
