Samuel Albert Smith's Obituary
Samuel Albert Smith of Federalsburg passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2025 at his home in Federalsburg. He was 82.
He was born on September 29, 1942 the son of the late Mace and Ella Jewell (Fairbank) Smith.
After High School, he earned his Bachelor's degree in Journalism from the University of Maryland. Sam later served in the United States Army during Vietnam. In his free time, he enjoyed reading and collecting books, his friends and family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Jewell Blanchfield.
In his liberal giving of himself; he has donated his body to medical research studies. He requested no services.
