Sara Brouillet Hudson's Obituary
Sara Brouillet Hudson of St. Michaels, MD passed away on September 29, 2023 at the age of 76.
A Baltimore native, she was a member of the Towson High School Class of 1965, she received her BA from the University of Colorado, and obtained her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and Theology from Loyola University.
Employed by Blue Cross Blue Shield for many years, Sara was instrumental in creating several major programs and service initiatives. She moved to Chestertown to join the practice of Chester River Behavioral Health and Wellness. While there, she was reunited with Robbin Hudson, whom she had known as a teenager, and they later married. They lived briefly in New Hampshire before returning to their much loved Eastern Shore to live in Saint Michaels. For 10 years Sara was a loving, devoted caregiver for Robbin until his death in July 2023.
Sara's deep faith guided her life, and she shared her love, kindness, compassion, and generosity with everyone.
Sara is survived by her siblings, Rebecca Brouillet Kirk and George Hector Brouillet Jr., MD.; nieces and nephews, Charles Henry Doeller IV (Chip), Bronwyn Brouillet Carmel, Paige Scarborough Hackney (deceased), MaryKate Brouillet, and George Hector Brouillet, III; stepchildren Parker Lee Hudson and Laura Reid Hudson; much loved pets, Abbaye and Cous-Cous.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 18, 12 noon, at Claiborne Village Hall in Claiborne MD. No flowers, please. In remembrance of Sara, donations will be accepted by Talbot Hospice Foundation, 565 Cynwood Drive, Easton, MD. 21601.
