Vernon V. Dulin's Obituary
Vernon V. Dulin Cordova, Vernon Voshell Dulin, of Cordova died at the University of Maryland Shore Medical Center, Easton, on Tuesday October 25, 2016. He was 77. Born in Skipton, on November 15, 1938 he was the son of the late Voshell and Rena Samis Dulin. He graduated from Talbot Co. public schools, then enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1958, and following his Honorable discharge in 1960, he returned to Talbot Co. Vernon worked at various places including, Bayshore foods, the Easton Police Dept. and finally accepting a position with the State Fire Marshall’s office as an investigator a position he held for 27 years. After his retirement he worked tirelessly as a volunteer for Talbot Hospice Foundation, the Blood Bank of Delmarva, and many other organizations. Vernon also worked as a Funeral Assistant for the Ostrowski Funeral Home P.A. of St. Michaels, for many years up until the time of his death. Mr. Dulin was a life member of Station 50 Cordova Vol. Fireman’s Association; where he was Past Chief, with over 60 years of service. He was also Honorary Life member of Easton Station 60 Vol. Fire Dept. He was inducted to the Hall of fame for Talbot Co. Fire and Rescue Association, and the Eastern Shore Fireman’s Association You could always see Vernon at the Amish Market enjoying a conversation with everyone. He is survived by his wife; Mary Ann Dulin, daughter Pam Larmore (Lonnie) of Cordova, sons; Kevin Dulin of Easton, Keith Dulin (Lori) of Denton a sister; Avon Coulborne of Cordova, four grandchildren; David Larmore, Katie Leneski (Mike) Makayla Dulin , and Patrick Leneski. A memorial service will be held at 5:00PM on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at the Cordova Fire house where the family will receive friends from 2:00PM until 5:00. Burial will be private at a later date. In lieu of flowers please make memorial donations to the Cordova Vol. fire Dept. P.O. Box 102 Cordova, MD. 21625. Arrangements are by the Ostrowski Funeral Home P.A. St. Michaels, MD.
