I’m so sorry to hear of Vernon’s passing. We knew him as Fritz and he would come in to a monthly soup kitchen we used to hold at St. Luke’s Parish Hall. He was a very interesting person and we enjoyed getting to know him. Despite difficult circumstances in his life, he was always so nice and was always so appreciative of anything that was done for him. My sincere condolences to his family.
