I really enjoyed talking to Mr Engle of his past experiances of days gone by. Years ago with my small knowledge it was an honer to assist him during one of his demo's at the steam show and hope his history lives on through others. With him I learn of the history of the old wooden Dover Bridge and how a steam engine broke through and into the river.He shared photo's of this and more. I'll keep the family in thoughts and prayer.
Mr. Wilber Engle had such a huge influence on everyone around him. His avid interest in Steam Engines, the saw mill, farming, playing banjo , and just general zest for life marked Mr. Wilbur as a special man. My condolences to his whole family .
You could always depend on "Uncle" Wilber to greet you with a smile and share a good story. I will always picture him in his shop with his stove going strong, a cat or two laying around and maybe some freshly shelled black walnuts or pecans if you were lucky. His wit and wisdom will be dearly missed.
Mr Engle was such an interesting person and so much fun to talk to. He knew alot about so many things. I especially remember his arrowhead displays and how he spoke of the individual personalities of cats. I always enjoyed listening to his opinions He had a wise way of looking at the world. I will miss my visits with him but remember them and think of him always with both fondness and a smile.

Mr. Enlgle was one of the smartest and nicest men I have known. He taught me alot about one of his favorite hobbies, working on guns. He always had a good story and I will miss his knowledge and humor. Sending my heartfelt condolences to the family.
