In the forty-seven years that I have been at the Five Kezar Ponds, the fun and frivolity that has characterized the Schilling cottage On Middle Pond is legendary. Those of us who love the ponds know how much they meant to Al and his family. This is evident from his generosity and that of the family in our most recent land purchase. As you mourn his loss, surely the fun and frivolity will continue as he would have wanted. He will surely be missed.
